Windows7 security features are enough good to save your computer from accidental deletion or initialization of any program to make a change in operating system. If you like to make any change you have to start all the required programs in administrator mode. If you like to make any kind of configuration you have to run a program in administrator mode. There are more than one method available to do this 
task.
Right Click Method
1. Go to Start menu
2. Go to Search
3. Enter a program name to find
4. Right click on the executable and select Run As Administrator
Command Method
1. Go to Start menu
2. Go to Search
3. Enter a program name to find e.g. CMD
4. Instead of pressing enter to open the program issue the follow combination command.
Ctrl + Shift + Enter
You will be prompted with the User Account Control dialog but it will then open up a command prompt in Administrator mode.
Note: You can use Alt+Y to quickly close the User Account Control dialog in Windows 7.
