Windows8 pre-beta has been launched and most exciting features are the metro style start menu along with a Windows store where everyone can download Metro style applications along with conventional Win32 applications. Everyone knows about the features of Windows8 but I would like to share few of them that are really great.
Metro Style Start Menu
New start menu for Windows8 which is really cool and that is metro style, see the picture given below.
Metro style menu will make it very convenient for the ordinary users to select the desired application without wasting any time on finding the application from the legacy start menus like Windows XP.
Windows Store
A really nice and great feature that is already being used in Apple (App Store) is being introduced in Windows8 and that is Windows Store which will have an unlimited number of application available for download and use. It will sell the metro style applications as well as conventional Win32 applications.
