Skype released its updated version (5.0.0.152) few days ago and that caused a big crash on windows operating systems. Many users (almost 50%) were not able to login and call or see anyone online. There was a justification update available on Skype’s website that something happened to their “Supernodes” and I would like to share the message with the viewers like give as under:
“Some of these computers are what we call ‘supernodes’ – they act a bit like phone directories for Skype. If you want to talk to someone, and your Skype app can’t find them immediately … your computer or phone will first try to find a supernode to figure out how to reach them.
Under normal circumstances, there are a large number of supernodes available. Unfortunately, today, many of them were taken offline by a problem affecting some versions of Skype. As Skype relies on being able to maintain contact with supernodes, it may appear offline for some of you.”
That only happened with the above given Skype release (5.0.0.152) and most of the critic marked that there was some bug in windows version of Skype and that caused a big loss for Skype. Skype has released a new version (5.0.0.156) and is available for download. I would like to share the location of Skype where the viewers can download an offline installer of Skype for later installation.
Download Skype Offline Installer (5.0.0.156)
Please update your Skype to updated version for a better communication.
