Today I would like to share a very simple trick provided by a friend and successfully tested by a couple of people to recover data from a dead hard drive.
people says that if you put a dead hard drive in a freezer, pull it out and plug it in, it should run long enough to recover the data. You might feel that I am a crazy guy sharing this out of understanding theory but it worked. Checkout the under given pictures and try to recover your data from a dead hard drive at your home.
While freezing the drive for a while extends life momentarily, the real trick is to run the hard drive while it’s in the freezer. Just throw in a water tight bag first. It Works pretty well with other gadgets including iPod hard drives.
