The Boot Configuration Data file doesn’t contain valid information for an operating system
Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The inner error of this issue is “bfsvc warning failed to remove duplicate object from bootmgr display order“. On screen error is “The Boot Configuration Data file doesn’t contain valid information for an operating system”. Microsoft suggests using some recovery tool which is completely unnecessary as it’s really easy to understand and solve the issue. My client was using Microsoft Intune and system was requiring BitLocker key to move to next screen while loading Microsoft Windows.
This happened due to a system restart during Microsoft Windows update which might have been the reason of boot manager problem. The Boot Manager can be easily repaired or corrected or even created a new file by deleting the old one. Follow under listed pictures to resolve this issue.
Error Screen:
On Screen Instructions to open command prompt to issue required commands.
Restart your computer in repair mode so that you can rebuild your Boot Manager by using command prompt under advanced options.
- Restart computer in repair mode
- go to advances options
- Go to Troubleshot
Go to Command Prompt option on Advanced options
