CISCO router can be a very good internet connection sharing resource in your company. There may be a time when you will face this issue unrecognized host or address or protocol not running. There might be multiple problems with your configuration. Most obvious ones are listed as under:
Your IP configuration is not correct
Your internet default gateway is not working
Your default route is not correctly configured.
Solutions!!!
In my case, everything was perfect and there was no problem seems. I tried everything to troubleshoot the issue. Googled for at least 1 hour but nothing relevant found on the internet. A hit and trial worked for me. Solution was very simple, I deleted the current route and created it again. interestingly, everything started working perfectly. I don’t know what could have went wrong but this simple trick worked for me.
