Reset Windows Forgotten Password
I shared a very good utility to reset the administrator password of windows 7. I tried that utility to reset the administrator password windows 10 but was not able to complete the task. There are multiple ways to Reset Windows Forgotten Password but I like to share a very simple and easy way to follow. You don’t need to reinstall the complete operating system to Reset Windows Forgotten Password. There is no need to restore the backup either.
Follow the under listed instructions to complete this task.
Boot from your windows 10 DVD or USB.
Go to repair your computer
Go to Advance Repair
Open the command prompt from the advance repair options.
Once the command prompt is opened on your screen.
Go to windows directory using commands
From this point, replace the Utility Manager at the login screen with cmd.exe so that you can open the command prompt before login at the login screen.
The Utility Manager is the one which gives the option to enhance the capabilities at login like on screen keyboard, etc.
The the under listed commands in the command prompt to move the Utility Manager and create a new user.

copy d:\windows\system32\cmd.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe

Once you are done with the modification, restart the system and go to normal loading of windows 10. At login screen go to Utility Manager and click on it. It will open a command prompt which will provide you the facility of user creation.
Create a new user and give the administrator permissions.

After adding a new user, login to the system with the new user and change the password of existing user.
