Skype Call Failed Problem with Recording Device Windows 10. If you have upgraded your system from any version like windows 7 or 8.1 then you might face this issue. I was facing this issue when I connect the headset with my laptop. without headset the system worked fine. There can be numerous reasons behind this problem.
I tried under given things to solve this problem. Hope it will help someone and save couple of precious moments.
Disabled the headset mic under sound by visiting the control panel
Checked every thing in Skype under sound settings.
Reinstalled all the codec from Realtek but still no luck
Re-installation of realtek codecs worked for a while but the issue arises again.
Then i completely uninstalled the sound card driver and downloaded the most updated driver available from the vendor website and it worked.

You can resolve this problem by control panel >manage Audio Device>Communication>DoNothing select.
Windows 10. you can try with another windows also.
help me to solve this recording device problem, to enjoy use of my skype.
