The Server Service is not Running

The resource you are looking for is not available. please contact your network and system administrator. You don’t have permissions to access this network resource. contact your network administrator. what happen if you are getting the above errors while accessing a network resource on your network and you are the network administrator? You will surely rush towards Google and try to search the real solid solution of this issue. I think the first thing you should check if the SERVER service is in running state and second thing is that to check the firewall of Microsoft Windows 2008 Server to check if the ports for file sharing are allowed. The most important thing that I would care is that why this thing happened because yesterday this damn thing was working fine. Just recall every change you made to this server. It can happen due to the installation or configuration of any server role. Most of the time Microsoft windows server require the server restart and a number of people like to say no because of tight schedule. If you can’t restart the server you must try to find the services and other things those are dependent on server restart.

In my case I installed a server role on my machine that stopped this server service so just restarting the service worked for me. I hope this will help someone and save a couple of minutes.
