The above message appeared on my screen while I was trying to install CISCO anyconnect client for VPN on one of my client’s system. when I searched the internet I found this very simple solution on http://its.uiowa.edu. Please consider this as a guest post and not my original work. I am just sharing it because I want to have this information on my blog for my own reference.
The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot.
To resolve this issue:
- Click the Start button.
- Click on Control Panel.
- Click on View Network Status and Tasks.
- Click on Change Adapter Settings.
- Right-click the shared connection and choose Properties
- Click the Sharing tab
- Clear the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection checkbox
- Click OK.
